First off, after reading a sampling of your posts at different boards, I would like to thank you for gratuitously promoting this forum whenever the opportunity arises. Im sure you understand that whether genuine or not, speaking about us in derisive terms does nothing to minimize the exposure you give by mentioning us in the first place and is exactly what I would advise others to do who had in mind to troll people at other forums. The only bad part is that most of the mentions of us that Ive seen were made at Brawl Hall but still, the gesture is appreciated. Thanks for keeping us in mind.
I remember you back when I was at FC and wanted to pick you for my PYP team the last year of it but you werent around during the start. I thought your posts were well constructed and hard hitting from even back then but I didnt see the depth and breadth of knowledge in them that I see now.
From the sampling of your posts (which I started conducting after Scoundrel passed me the link to his recent visit to BH and seeing how many times you mentioned us) (which further made me wonder if you were a member here who was whoring for our board there), I can see that you are a highly educated, multilingual, well read person who isn't at all timid about taking positions on issues or deconstructing the suppositions of others. Exactly the type of poster which would be an asset here.
On the other hand, the almost universal reaction to you and your posts which I have seen at various flame forums (f4$, FW, BH) is that you are something of a pseudo intellectual dullard which is to be expected if what you post is above most people's head and they otherwise can't frame any intelligent responses to it.
Let me suggest that your writing talents are mostly going to waste in flame forums. You post in a forum which you repeatedly acknowledge is comprised of "tards" and which admits to raiding other "tard forums" beneath them in order to supplement its membership with the lowest dregs from those tard forums who are stupid enough to register at your forum in response to "BH ownz yuo" type of posts. Those are the type of posters who continually refer to you as a lame, unfunny dullard and who you keep company with.
Now, to my knowledge no one here has ever claimed that we are a bastion of "luminaries" or an internet hub of activity for those busy bodies who like post in forums from their waking hour til bedtime but what we do offer is a forum for discussion, debate (and yes, also flaming in the context of the discussions) where you can expend your talents and online aggression on debatable topics aside from other posters. When you compare the average IQ from the main forums here (not including looney) to where you normally post, it's like comparing Yale to the Appalachia community college all stars (jk, loon). It's all relative.
I am strictly appealing to your intellectual curiosity. You obviously lurk here from time to time and know a bit about this forum so notwithstanding your insolent comments about this place, there must be something here which you find appealing and brings you here to lurk and repeatedly mention us. We may not have a big roster of 'luminaries' like you seem to like to mock but we do have a few highly educated, intelligent members and even more who lurk and may be swayed to partake in discussions after reading some of your posts.
I would think that the critical thinker and satisfaction of posting higher level semi-academic responses in you would welcome a more varied intellectual and substantive textual exchange than topics such as emmy's weight or AW's mustache thickness but maybe Im just being presumptuous. In any case, I am extending an open invitation and welcome to you should you wish to step out of the shadows and engage any of us in topical discussions.
