It seems the Poles have just okayed the chemical castration of pedophiles. A bold step, human rights whingers are up in arms as usual but who cares about them anyway...

Now, don't tell me the proposers of this fantastic idea had relatives who lived in the Auschwitz-Birkenau region a few years ago and they cobbled together this wonderful idea of government backed physical control once extolled so wonderfully by those jolly jack booted chaps from the master race HQ down the road? I see no other reason why institutionalised castration would be considered by anyone with more than a double digit IQ. We've been there so many times and if someone would care to point out to me even a modicum of success then please do. Otherwise keep your Swastikas  hidden in the bottom of your pron drawer along with the nipple clamps and studded jock strap and let people who have a realistic sense of law and order lead the way for the forseeable future eh?

I fail to see what is wrong with preventing pedophiles from harming children and I also fail to see what is wrong with punishing them if they do. It's hardly national socialism.

Of course we could lock them up for a year or two and then release them to live next to a kindergarten like always but I think that this method is actually the most humane way of dealing with the problem for all involved.

That's all i needed to read to know that i'm totally against any form of physical violence on behalf of a state that fucks up so many prosecutions and either executes or imprisons untold numbers of innocent people that shame drips from every court in the world on a daily basis. I'm more of your eye for an eye type of guy. If a peado goes near my kids he'd beg for chemical castration as i inject him in the jugular with sulphuric acid after a week or two of medieval style torture whilst i post his sorry ass all over the net as a warning to other would be child rapists........ I think that's fair, don't you?

I just thought Poland's approach had some merit in recognising that this type of behaviour is an illness. It attempts to treat it rather than reverting to medieval style nonsense.

It seems like a very progressive step and there is no suggestion that violence is intended. Your assumption is way off the mark. Read the article, it makes it pretty impossible to discuss the article if you dont you know.
