This is not they type of forum I was searching for, unless you have a hidden board regarding electrified rail networks.

I am not into train-spotting, before the comedians jump in. I have a project to present at work.

I would be pleased to hear from anyone in the rail industry.

Having read just two topics before I jumped in to post here, I have to ask why are you so nasty to people. I like to make friends on the internet and wouldn't like to be spoke to in the manner some people seem to use here.

Oh right, I give up. How the heck do you get people to post here if that is how you welcome them.

I can give you some links to some forums where people are nice and help each other if you like, however with that sort of attitude I think you would get banned straight away.

Hi Moffy, and welcome.

We speak nicely to most, but even when speaking crassly, it's all a big joke, and not meant to be taken seriously. We dish it out, and (most of us) can take it. There are exceptions to every rule, of course.

I, for one, hope you stick around long enough to see that we aren't all bad..we debate and discuss, try to educate (and get frustrated when you can't..you'll see what I mean by that when you meet caskur) and learn something along the way. Give it a shot, don't take anything too seriously, and enjoy your time here.

With the third rail live as opposed to overhead power, when Firefighting operations must take place in a close vicinity. For example on the bank, what action should the OiC take before a caution is in place is one of the practice questions given. I assume because of the danger of arcing and or moving trains that the action must consist solely of safeguarding his/her crew by adopting a defensive mode.

I guess introductions is not the best place to ask technical questions, is there a better section to ask you?

Just yesterday I had the online version of the Taco bell chiwawa rushing my ankles like there was a scooby snack buried there or something.

I was like, wtf? Anyway, you're not on CO as much anymore. Why is that?

I've never spammed this board or any board with "inane" crap....if an issue interests me, I reply to it.....fortunately for you lot, American politics is as about as exciting as watching repeats of some third rate American sitcom for the 10th time...
