Ya, he had a solid game last night. Best thing of yesterday was that hit on Warner after the INT. Laid that sonofabitch out!

Although I wanted a decent game, I'm glad the Cowboys came out on the losing end of that ass whooping.

Well, we almost got the best four teams during the season playing for a chance at the Super Bowl. At halftime you could clearly see what happened as about to happen. They were completely outplaying and out celebrating the Jets but only had a 7 - 0 lead. One pick 6 or a slipped db away from a tie game and panic setting in when realizing that their first half domination and celebrations didnt match the score or the reality of the situation.

Sure enough, they missed field goals, turned the ball over, committed critical penalties and gave up the big play in the fourth quarter and lost the game. They didnt put the Jets away when they had things going their way and now their 13-3 record is for nothing but a sign of post season futility and they lose to a 9-7 team who just barely made it to the post season.

As I said before, so many times these football games are like Shakespearean tragic stories, especially in the playoffs. I have to give credit to Rex Ryan though. He might come across as an arrogant, disrespectful prick but im sure that his players love his brashness and more importantly, he can out coach just about anyone's (except the Dolphins's Wildcat) offense with his overload blitz hybrid Bears 46 Defense. Bill Walsh must be rolling in his grave.

I cant think of a back who had better change of direction moves in college in the past decade than @reggie_bush. Looks like the Saints are finally starting to give him some plays which allow him to showcase his talent.

Check out the run at 1.30 where he puts on the airbrakes and stops on a dime by sideline and beats four defenders in front of him to the end zone. That's my favorite Reggie highlignt even though he as dozens which leave you shaking your head in amazement. The guy's moves are straight out of a video game.

Ok- all season I haven't said anything (that I can remember) but wtf with the gay ref? He was officiating the Chargers/Jets today. This is the first season I've noticed him. He's like the gay ladie's man!

And this was a decent football weekend! Good games - I'm so happy Dallas is O U T!

Dude, that made my dick hard.  I played QB from Pop Warner to high school, and was an avid archer into my twenties and I'll go one further...

I'd agree it's easier to hit a target with the pigskin than an arrow, but I believe several position players in baseball could be just as accurate and not be HOF material.

What did you play in college at State?

Tough calls on today's games. Obviously the Vikings - Saints is the marquee game with Bress and the high powered Saints offense against Favre and the high powered Vikings offense AND run defense. Even though the Vikings have a much better defense and the Saints have a mediocre pass defense for Favre to exploit, i have to go with the Saints at home. The Superdome is going to be crazy.

The other games figure to be a blowout but i wouldnt bet on it. Manning is the one QB who you do not want blitz a lot because he recognizes it presnap and knows exactly where to throw the ball without even having to find a receiver.

However, if the Jets are able to play press coverage and disrupt the timing of the receivers getting off the line, it can lead to picks. Dont underestimate the Rex Ryan blitz packages and what he can come up with on defense. I think they will be blitzing from all over the field and the game will either be one of those 4 TD or 4 INT games for Manning. I still like the Colts but sure wouldnt be surprised to see the Jets pull out a defensive victory a la the Ravens of the early 2000's.
