To further expand on my previous post, last year Cassel played in the same system as Brady and behind the same line and he had an outstanding year which lead to a franchise tag, a multi-million dollar contract / trade and a starting job.
This year, the same player who had Brady-like numbers only a year older is playing behind the Chiefs' o-line and a different system. Let's see if he fares anywhere near as good as he did in NE last year.
What Im saying is that Brady is good but you cant shower all that credit onto him alone. He's been very fortunate to have a fine line, the best coaches, good wr's and the perfect system for his skills. Without any of those components, Brady isnt the Brady we all know about.
Just wait til Belichick snags Tim Tebow and builds a spread offense around him next year.
