DMCA Copyright Notices
« on: June 08, 2016, 09:02:47 PM »

This site does not profit monetarily in any way from the displayed contents. Other than images owned by individual members, all embedded images, videos and the like displayed on TRF are hosted on other sites. There is no copy of the images, videos, etc., being stored by TRF. Copyrights belong to the rightful owners of said images. TRF does not claim copyright over any posted images.

Notice of any claim of copyright infringement should be sent to: dmca @thirdrailforum.com (without the space), and included the following information pursuant to the DMCA:

    • The name, address and physical or electronic signature of the complaining party [512(c)(3)(A)(i)].

    • Reasonably sufficient detail to enable us to identify and locate the material that is claimed to be infringing (for example a link to the page that contains the material); [512(c)(3)(A)(ii-iii)].

    • Reasonably sufficient details to enable us to identify the work claimed to be infringed or, if multiple works are claimed to be infringed, a representative list of such works (for example: title, author, any registration or tracking number, URL); [512(c)(3)(A)(iv)].

    • A statement by the owner that it has a good faith belief that there is no legal basis for the use of the materials complained of [512(c)(3)(A)(v)].

    • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is alleged to be infringed. [512(c)(3)(A)(vi)].

A service provider is not required to respond to a DMCA notice that does not contain substantially all of these elements. If we become aware that one of our users is a repeat copyright infringer, it is our policy to take reasonable steps within our power to ban them from posting at this site.

Please be advised that you will be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent an infringement of your copyright. Thus, if you are not sure content located on or linked-to by TRF infringes your copyright, you should consider first contacting an attorney.
